This former military area has a tricky entrance through rocks for which you have to follow a transit. It is therefore much less popular than Porto Palma, and also, because of its narrow entrance, much more sheltered. Except from the NW, and that is exactly where the wind came from in the afternoon. By then Faith, Isabel and Manolo had had a good 45 minutes of snorkelling and we had had lunch. This is one of the most beautiful anchorages we have seen.
We sailed back to Palau with a good breeze (NW F4) and gave I&M a masterclass in beating through the sound from Capo d'Orso to Palau, tacking between Isola San Stefano and mainland Sardinia.
