The sun's still hot and the sky is blue

We've been delayed in Estepona after leaving Gibraltar yesterday afternoon. We sailed up the dramatic and uncluttered (with high rises and resorts) east side of the rock as the sun was getting lower in the west.

It was beautiful - a mountain of different shapes and sizes of clouds filled the sky to the north, over the actual sierras of Andalucia. They all caught the colours of the set sun and the sliver of moon came out while the sky was still light. With dark came the stars and a warm southerly wind.

Our alternator is acting up again so, having broken down, we're breaking down and having a new one installed tomorrow. We might get in a swim. And then it's off for the passage northeast, past Nerja, waving, and on to Motril. And Cartegena and finally Mar Menor where Isabel and Manolo are helping us immensely with sorting our wintering berth.
