Three Eleanora's falcons swooped and zigzagged over the sea and the air 30 metres above it, chasing a tired passerine migrant. They got it. They breed late just so this is possible to feed their young.

We saw it all, on the passage west that we did today, back along the outstanding, spectacularly rugged mountainous north coast of Mallorca. We swooped into Sóller harbour ourselves on a good force 5. Lovely seas after a too quiet motoring morning.

Safe at anchor now. Fed and watered and ready for bed. Kedge anchor out gentle rocking only.
