While I was vainly putting schmilblick into Google translate, Klaus, who is far more sensible than I, simply googled it and found the answer in Wikipedia. If you are interested, you can do the same.

There are now only 21 nautical miles (42 kilometres) to Dunkirk and the yard where the mast is. Did 78 ks today and three locks, one of which had a drop of 13.13m, which is massive.

There is a good chance I will get the mast on tomorrow afternoon, but the forecast for the next few days? Gales force gusts on Sunday and Monday. Keen though I am to get back home, it doesn't look like I shall be able to start until Tuesday. But there is a chance a Wivenhoe friend may join me then and if so we can do it non stop and the passage will be shorter.

Now to try to remember about tidal streams, and course to steer....
