First things first ( in case somebody is interested):

COG: 264T
SOG:  ~6.1-7.5 knts
WIND: NE (043T ), ~10-16knts
Millage done: 339 nm as I’m typing...

Well, has been not eventful night, which everyone seems has been appreciating:

-- the boat has been running happily, avoiding waves, heading a bit on winds increases, and coming back after.
I notice, she is doing much better without my attempts to adjust sails, tune the course, etc... ( All stuff which sailors are doing, pretending they are driving their boats... )
-- I’ve been sleeping most of the time, in my 25minutes off / ~5 minutes on mode...

-- The intrigue of the night – was to avoid the wind hole, which – according to the model – had to appear exactly where we were...
But adjustment of the course, and the great job of the boat seems fixed the problem... We narrowly managed to escape, got the tail of the leaving winds, and have been sailing all night on more or less straight course to Minorca...
-- the new winds has been gusty,  but fair enough.  The maximum speed I saw on my ‘wake up’ intervals was 8.5 knots, and on average we were probably doing around 7 knots...
-- the swell was OK, I think... Though the deck in the morning was completely washed up,  no any challenges...

What next?  We are approaching the land... Can not see, but the amount of ships, birds, and some clouds on horizon makes me guess the land is ahead of us.  I hope – it is Minorca... ( But even if I’m wrong – it is some part of Spain, anyway )...

Seems like finally, I have some 5-days old weather model files, Arpege...  Since yesterday evening, the data seems to be ok and corresponds to reality. ( Do not ask why... )  According to this model – it will be some winds today in the Minorca / Mallorca area... Coming and going, but not bad winds... So, most probably, I am going straight to the southern Mallorca, without pit stop on Minorca... It is 80nm away,  and probably another 60-70 nm to Palma bay...  So, we getting closer...
But that will be decided as we approach Minorca first,  I’ll expect the calm period there, inspect the boat, myself,  may be download the fresh weather...
