The anchor has been picked up,  the boat put to the dock… The tanks have been topped with diesel,  gas for the generator… 
Yes, we are leaving Mallorca… With the course towards Italy…

I’ve arrived on Mallorca on April 13th…  and spent there nearly 3 month!

A lot has happened during that time! 

First, certification of my sailing experience with RYA… As today, only ENG1 medical certificate is standing between me and commercial Yachtmaster licence.   All the rest — actual sailing and around sailing — courses have been done,  exams passed, the certificates received… 
In short,  SV Eleonora finally got the certified captain on board. The insurance company should be happy. I’m wondering what would be their next demand… ;-) 

Secondly,  I’ve met a lot if interesting people on Islands. Those meetings, conversations,  the people experiences — are sharpening what should be done next, where to go, what to see, what to do… There experiences, stories, advices — are impossible to underestimate… 
As nearly always — the ball is now on my side… ‘ Just do it !!!  ‘, as the old adagio goes… 

The special time  — a very, very long,  and at the same time — a very, very, very, very short week with the old friends…  People, whom I know for 30+ years… It happened so, that they rented the boat on Mallorca, and we went to explore Mallorca and Minorca together… What a wonderful time! 

And on top of all above — the routine life of the ’sea gypsy’…. ;-)  No complains, no regrets… !

Time is going. It is the middle of July. The anchor is picked up. The motor running,  the water maker filling the tanks, there is a light breeze in the right direction ( for a change… )…. 

Within a couple of hours we will leave the Palma bay, passed the Cabo Blanco,  then Salinas and Salinas point… ( The route, which I probably can do now with my eyes closed by now… ) And then, our course would differ, and start to take us from  Mallorca, from Spain towards Italy…   The chapter of Mallorca adventure is closing,  the Italian chapter is starting to appear ahead! 

Everything is OK on board.
