From Sicily to Palma: Sardinia behind, Palma on course, but...

                | 38:33.641N 008:11.781E 1200 UTC We have passed Sardinia, leaving the island about
23 nm to the North. The devices did not pick up any cell network -- no
inside the boat, no outside, with and without amplifier... It would be nice to download the fresh updates to
the weather... But ok,  we are going with what we have... As soon as we clean the Sardinia Island -- the
weather starts to change.  The sky is getting covered with the
clouds,  the wind slightly increased...  The swell increased too. But
probably due to the weather and wind behind us.  For now,  it is OK,
it actually helps,  as aligned with the the course well. Computer telling 245+ nm -- depending to where
exactly to go -- to Mallorca.  It means, probably 48 hours, at
least...  Computer models say that the first 24 - 30 hours should be
ok.  And then, on arrival, we should have the wind in our face and
some other nuances...  I would prefer more speed, and more work
now...  But the trick is -- with main only,  I'm on the direct course,
and on run.  To open the second sail -- the best way to adjust the course
before... Even if I'm going to put the poll finally.  But what gain I
would get is not clear, since wind -- based on the models, again -- should
change... The models say that,  but all suggest different
changes. ;-) Also, I'm suspecting that the gain I'm getting in
speed,  will be eaten by the extra distance I have to go... The bottom line,  at the moment -- I'm
watching how we are progressing,   and monitoring the situation.
Those are all the news for the moment. Talk soon, M. --------------- SOG: 5.1 - 5.6 knts COG: 272-277 T Wind:  90-110T @ ~15+ knts,  we are on
