UTC & local time -- 1220... July 5th...
It is a peaceful and nice day... It looks
ilke everybody -- the ocean, the boat, and myself -- are in agreenment that
today we just need to sail... ( Except the wind, as usual... )
The wind is slowly going somewhere, paying
less and less attention to us... To attract it -- I did all possible
tricks -- change the sails -- we are currently running the main
full, on port side, and yankee, with pole -- on starboard... I asked the
wind politely to stay with us... and even was ready to perform the dance with
drums... But realized -- I have no drums... Because of that,
probably, we are going 068 -- 075 True, with rediculous speed
of ~4.x kts...
The next to the last reserve --
gennaker... and the last one -- motor... But we will see...
I've mentioned already -- that the morning
greated us with wet fog, whih penetrated everywhere and made everything
wet... Really -- nearly soaking -- wet... I have not
seen such weather before....
As appologizing for sending us a wrong pattern
-- the weather changed its mind.... Now it is comfortably
warm, and sunny... No, there is no blue skies... But the Sun is coming through
the high blanket of clouds... I guess it is a perfect weather for
photoglaphy... Accept, there is no too much to photo...
The ocean took the side of the wind, and ...
playing with us... I've been seating in the rear
cocpit, observing how the boat is doing after the sail
adjustment was done...
When I suddenly noticed a few dorados
-- pretthy big -- following and playing with the stern wake... The shape,
the colour left no doubts -- dorados...
I've described my bad luck with fishing...
There is need to repeat it... But this time -- the bar has been moved to
the new level... That was a bit insulting!!! All Disney World
movies -- with birds in front of the cat, mices playing in the
house, etc, etc. --- went in front of my eyes, nearly
sumultaneously... My eyes probably flashed , and the
fish felt it... they splitted in 2
groups, accelerated a bit, and disappeared in front of
the boat...
Well, one day... We will set account...
So, we good, we progressing slowly... and if
I extrapalate the current course -- I'm getting to the north part of the Bay of
Biscay... We just need some speed...
That is all for now,
We are good, we are ok.
Talk soon.
