We just moved a few miles NNW from our previous place on Formentera.
The reason is simple. I've never been on Formentera before... But seems like I've known this place forever...
Long, long sand and/or rock beaches....
In the water, following the show line -- the line of yellow byoes, which should protect the swimmers....
Next, following the line of yellow byoes -- the 'virtual line' of all kind of 'floatation devices'... Starting from the small enflatables, and ending up in superyacts of all kinds, types, and sizes....
Following that line... the passage for the ferries and all kind of 'working sea horses' -- whose role to provide the shore with no stopped flow of tourists and all necessary supplies...
I've seen such installation(s) and settlements all over.... They may be a bit different in luxury, size, duration of the season... But they are very, very same in general...
The famous Formantera shore line, with sand beaches... is one of such places...
The anchorage we have chosen yesterday on arrival -- may be 'typical', but it is interesting at the same time...
But 'too active', too noisy, to much swell from all local cargo -- ferries, cargo boats of all type, etc....
So, we moved to the next anchorage... a bit further North....
Same sand bottom -- and consequently clear, a bit green, transperent water...
A bit further from the 'traffic lines'....
A few metters South from the passage between the East and the West part of sea around Formantera, between Espalmador and Formentera...
Much quiter... Maybe it is quiter -- because my cell phone provider Lebara seems does not want to cover the place...
May be because the weather is already changing, gusty winds started to pick up... And tomorrow the forcast promises some more wind... from SW direction -- how can it be? -- all way up to San Antonio... If there is promised day to come back to San Antonio -- it is definetely tomorrow!
So, in a few miles from 'civilization', we are lost under the hot summer sun, on anchore, in beautiful tranquil water, in front of the sand beach....
Everything is fine,
Talk soon,
M.
