We are targetting Cabo Finisterre...
After a few hours of beating against the wind
and the swell... After my acceptance -- see previoust message -- that I made a
couple of mistakes... The weather changed again... Instantly,
withing a few minutes, the wind changed direction from 231 to 299...
Now, it is on our back quarter... We are
targetting the selected waypoint... We are not in a rush, since we have to do in
over the night... We have enough time, we have enough speed... We have enough
'tactical space' to handle the shipping lines... ( Actually, we should be out
pretty soon... )...
If my reading of the weather correct -- it was a
tail of the cold front, which passed on top of us... I'm holding my
fingers crossed -- which is easy and naturally done at this point -- that
I'm right. In such case, the rest of the passage should be
predictable...
The boat is 'leveled' at this point... I'm going to
make some tea... And relax... Though the weather is good now -- you never know
what is going to happen at night...
I guess, we are continuing our 101 course of heavy
weather... And what is the better place to take it, then the skirts
of the Bay of Biscay? Ye, ye... roaring 40s somebody is saying...
Well, I like the Bay of Biscay at this point... and it may be
always considered as a preparation for Roaring... You never know... ;-)
Ok, we are fine, stable, progressing!
