1082.1 nm gone...
We are be calmed... Since yesterday, at about 2100
UTS...
It has been a good progress ... Untill something like the
'front line' -- I learned later it was kind of troff -- moved over
us... Within a fraction of the minutes, the wind from the SSW
changed to N, then NNW.... from 5 kts to 15... Stayed
like that for for half an hour... and then gone
completely.... leaving us more drifting rather then sailing...
My first intention has been -- motor on, move... But
then...
Being in that area and do not learn what the famous
'horses latitudes' are about ? That is nonesense!
The good part is -- I do not have horses on board, and I still have
watermaker... So, nobody is going to be killed... at least today...
The patetic 'progress' of 2.6 knots towards Azores
? Does it matter, really ? ;-) I'll be
a bit later there... I will...;-)
On another side -- what is the better space to relax, to
think about your life, about your friends, abount your loved ones? A
few books to read? In short -- manana ( as
phylosohy ) is all over the board today... ;-)
So, if you need a good place for above -- my
recomendation would be the corner of 33:08N &
53:08W, take left after the third wave, and here you are...
-- decent place, food not bad... not expensive...
On that note -- time for coffee!
