37:58.083N 000:41.015W 1342 UTC ![]() My guests have to leave on Monday, 21st. So, we diverted our course, to reach the land and to make the guaranteed arrival with no stress, to the closest port for me to continue to Almerimar later… And it happened to be Torrevieja. We are on anchor in front of the marina, but behind the huge waves breaker wall. It is very nice from authorities to leave a free anchorage their. Really good place, well protected and, I think, a good holding. Though I do not know what is at the bottom. Probably mud… It took me some time to restore the Internet connection. So, my apologies for the delays with all updates… What are the plans now ? First, secure the boat — lines, equipment, etc, etc, etc… Then — good dinner and a good rest. I do not have the exact weather forecast in front of me yet… But I know for sure, there is nothing good till Wednesday, for sure. So, it would be a lot of time to catch-up with e-mails, blog, etc… One of the goals, to look retrospectively on the whole passage, and to analyse it… Well, I’m always dreaming! ;-) The passage appeared to be really eventful. I’m anxious to put some details in writing, before I start to forget them, or start to imagine things which were not true! ;-) Then — to find solution for the navigation computer. The current one — seems had been hurt more then appeared on the first look… So, back to some games with software installations, key verifications, etc, etc… And then — monitoring the weather, looking for the window to make the jump to Almerimar. Tuesday should be an interesting day. The weather system is expected to cover the whole Baleares islands… It would probably explain/confirm if the decision to leave Palma a bit it a rush was right or not… Everything is good and under full control on board.
