Thursday 19 th August
From Mackay we had a short 90-minute
flight arriving in Brisbane at mid-day. Our next flight wasn't until 6.30
pm so we headed into Brisbane for some lunch with Gavin, Lica and Shea (Sol
Maria) who were on the same flight and are heading back home to New Zealand for
a week.
The flight to Christchurch on the south
island was three hours and thirty minutes and we arrived at mid-night, there is
a two hour time difference, we are now twelve hours ahead of U.K. and it was
FREEZING.
