Yesterday Paul, Amy and Paul Blower
arrived so now we have the full crew here. Poor Paul (Blower) has soon been put
to work. Whilst we were diving he spent the morning with his head stuck in a
cupboard looking for a losse connection for the SSB radio. Thankfully he appears
to have fixed it!

Before we left the UK we did a PADI diving
course, but needed to do 4 open water dives to complete the course. Our first
dive was Monday last week, where we had to do some skills and in the afternoon
we had our second dive. We dived for 45 minutes and would you believe it,
amongst the fish was a shopping trolley in the middle of the bay. I had refused
to dive in the UK because I didn't want to dive in a reservoir full of
shopping trolleys - how ironic! Yesterday we completed our third and fourth open
water dives. And thankfully there were no more shopping trolleys. We dived at
21.5 metres for 45 minutes, it was fantastic. At one stage we were surrounded by
hundreds of sardines and a 4ft Grupa. So now we are divers!
