Saturday 28th November

At 10am the clocks went back another 2 hours so it has been another long day today! We really do notice the difference and the day seemed to drag as did last Saturday because the clocks went back 2 hours then too. But at least now we're in line with Antigua making us 4 hours behind the UK.

We heard on the roll call this morning that most of the rally boats had experienced storms in the night. We think we might just miss them as they are moving out to the North West.....hopefully! But we did have our first squall this morning! It was only slight though and lasted no more than a minute or two, so that was fine.

The rocky motion has been back today and it's been rockier than ever! Amy has nicknamed the two head sails 'Bib' and 'Bob' as they are the reason we're experiencing this bibbly bobbly motion. I managed to cook up beouf stroganoff (except it was pork) and I think it was nothing shy of a miracle that I managed to keep it all in the pans. I'm going to have to start wearing an apron or something else to cover me up because it really is quite dangerous. I've already scalded myself while making a cup of tea!

The Blowers have very kindly recorded some TV programs for us that we've missed while we've been away, mainly X-Factor. So we had an X-factor evening, catching up on what we've missed.

I'm pleased to say we now have less than 1000 miles to go!
