Monday 12th July
Amy caught the bus down to the
Jean-Michel Custeau Resort at 07:15 to sit her final exam and we turned up
at 08:30 to dive. At first we thought Amy couldn't come as the dive was too
advanced but the instructors seemed happy for her to do it. The boat ride was
around 45 minutes to Namena Island, a marine reserve. The site was called 'The
Chimney's'. The scenery, coral and fish were fantastic but the current was
so strong that most of us were too busy paying attention to
that.

We then picked up a buoy just off
Namena Island to snorkel and eat a spot of lunch. Then it was on to the next
dive, 'Grand Central Station'. This dive was superb and much more
relaxing!
