Saturday 30^th January

Throughout the night the winds were a constant 35-45 knots gusting to 50 knots on occasions. We’ve had very little sleep and are feeling quite exhausted. We have 130 miles to go and counting!

By mid afternoon the winds had dropped to between 10 - 15 knots with the occasional swell. It’s quite incredible how quickly the sea can change! We have a much more manageable motion and have managed to catch up on some sleep and have a shower. We are now sailing along at 5 knots and should be in Porvenir early morning.
