Today we packed away the toys and motored across to Moorea.
Although there was very little wind, a swell still existed between the islands - and we were met off Moorea by a threatening looking rainstorm.
We anchored in Cook's Bay and went ashore to the legendary Bali Hi club for lunch.
A very wet afternoon saw Jenny repairing the leaks in the roof of my cabin, and me cutting holes in the side of the centerboard casing (the exterior casing!) to locate the cause of the dreadful smell emanating from our holding tank! The holes worked, as i discovered a leaky carbon filter. Meanwhile using the 5200 in my cabin caused some mild hysterics!
The grown-ups (ex Jenny) ate ashore at Te Honu-Iti, fantastic food.
