Not only was there cake, but also a wonderful world of Marzipan sea creatures!
The pirates then decided to hike up to Fort Napoleon on a Birthday adventure.... amazingly Blue Beard had already visited the castle and left Ella's butterfly necklace in a cannon - which the pirates soon found.
The view below is from the fort, looking down on Bourg de Saintes and across to Dominica in the background.
Back to the boat after the exhausting hike for a fantastic lunch - followed by swimming.
The day was completed via a business transaction, incredibly the local Kayak hire shop stocked the fantastic Clearblue Hawaii products - and i was able to buy a paddle for the inflatable and - piece de resistence - a large rigid transparent Kayak. The Cloud is now definitely looking like a mobile hire shop as the various marine toys and ribs now number 8 or 9!
