Our last day with Patricia and we were off to Puerto Ayora and the Darwin Research Station to see Lonesome George - the most famous tortoise in the world.
George is lonesome because he is the last of his tribe and cannot find a suitable mate - despite his relatively modest age of 100!

Daisy loved getting up close again...

After that, and much to Joan's relief, we were off to the wonderful 5 start hotel of the Royal Palm for lunch.

The shower water for the pool was COLD!
