Flying Cloud

We decided to move on this morning to the South East coast of Barbuda - to Cocoa point. Another jaw dropping beach, but this time with a rather unfriendly hotel (albeit small) nearby.
Anyway, the girls soon spotted that Blue Beard the Pirate had been on the beach - and left a rather well marked treasure trail which lead to some great booty.

After an excellent Flying Fish fillet lunch (thank you Jenny) it was time to leave Barbuda and head back to Antigua.
The sail was a beautiful beam reach - with a very flat sea - making for some great sailing.
The trip was also quite full of marine life, aside from the obligatory flying fish we saw a large Whale moving East (away from us) through the channel between the islands. This was followed by our first catch of the trip - a medium sized Baracuda.
Ella also took command of the boat, and helmed for an amazing 1 hour stint - bringing us almost up to the Boon channel - which marked our turning point towards Long Island - aka Jumby Bay.

Within minutes of putting our anchor down we were rewarded with our first starfish - which Ella retrieved (and later replaced) on the seabed.
