Another busy day on the Cloud, and there's a big-gaping hole in the wall to my room! I spent a good part of the day with our desalinator engineer, running pipes through the easiest of passegs... We only had to dismantle my closet, remove the oven so we could remove the fridge, remove the shelf under the fridge (oh, and to remove the drawers facing the fridge to create space and avoid dinging them... After that we had to prop up the fridge so that we could crawl into the fridge hole and fed the pipes while I was in the closet pushing them up! Grrr, a whole chunk of time spent on something we were hoping would be straightforward! The other items went along well: our engines have both had a thorough check over, with our water pumps having their seals replaced, oil changes, filter changes, etc... More corrosion than we would have hoped for on an exhaust elbow, but this is nothing new for us. The one thing that was a bit worrisome was that the gearbox oil was a bit on the glittery side... We've had samples taken to be analyzed and will see what the result is... Important thing is that they've been pronounced healthy.
Jenny spent the morning doing more odd jobs for me (whilst actually trying to get some more interior prep done), and managed to get a surprising amount done before heading off on her flight. She's going to have a doosie bringing back the two bags of gear she'll be carrying, but there's nothing else to be done! On the way back from the airport I picked us up some replacement speakers for the interior, and popped by the welder, who has already finished putting a safety ring on our tow gen mount... Unfortunately he'd stepped out without leaving a bill, so I'll be back in the morning!
I've just managed to finish a nice satisfying, straightforward job: installing vents in our cockpit lockers to make them more veggie friendly... Very hopeful it'll be just the trick to keep our veg longer! After that, a thorough hoover of all the work areas, and a tidy up of all my various tools, and I'll be calling it a day!

Can't wait to get back to sea!!!!
