The rays must have smelt the Tuna and they certainly saw it as they decended on us in a feeding frenzy. It was all a bit much for the first timers...
But even the old hands had their share of difficulties, with the bag of Tuna getting chucked between the less and less willing feeders. Finally one ray got closer than usual with Jenny, leaving a little suck mark which might last for a day or two.
Finally the newcomers returned to the water as things calmed down....
Only to be met by a group of 5 black tipped sharks that had been attracted to the feeding frenzy.
Justin felt the need to go off in hot pursuit....
Whilst Ella managed to dive to new depths of maybe 3m.
A quick lunch at the nearby hotel was followed up by a brilliant dive for Justin, Jenny and I. Again the sharks must have smelt the Tuna as we were stalked for our entire dive by 7 overly friendly black tips. A brilliant green Moray eel also revealed itself, not to mention lionfish and hundreds of other colorful fish.
Celebratory cocktails after another long hard day before returning to Flying Cloud for sunset drinks and the last supper on board.
