Dominica you could spend a month in and still not get bored - but we only had the morning left and had asked the excellent Royce () to guide us around some of the great spots in the South.

First stop was the giant Banyan tree below - which was inhabited by a group of monkeys.....

The jousting match ended badly, with my pink hat falling off..

Finally we reached the real goal of the morning (it was already the afternoon) - the cold and hot water falls. Here an excellent guide - Vanessa - walked with us down and around the site.

The cold water falls were terrific - and the entire crew enjoyed the bath.

Then it was the turn of the hot pools.

Finally we got back to the boat (2.30pm) - to be greeted by an ESE 5-6. Not what Joan was looking for.
Anyway, after sort of eating some sandwiches Joan was very brave and soon enough we were past the point of no return and well on our way to Martinique.

As we got into the lee of Martinique the sail improved into a flat water cruise, so we decided to head as far south on the Island as possible.

We arrived at the Grand Anse at around 8pm, after having some wonderful duck.

A quick review of the night sky and a couple of drink and then it was time for bed.
