Alexis decided that he didn't want to get wet looking for turtles so we had a slightly annoying morning on "caribbean time" waiting for the laundry.
However, after lunch the sun came out and the pirates continued down the coast - drinking coconut juice.
I can't say enough how beautiful the island of Dominica is....
By early evening we were anchored off of the excellent Anchorage Hotel and Dive shop, just south of Roseau.
Matt and Jenny looked after the kids whilst we went ashore for dinner... as we got in the tender we were treated to the incredible sound of a whale blowing in the pitch black darkness.
