What, a day!
Amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinggggggggggg sailing. The speedo hasn't come off 10 knots all day long and the top speed of the day is 18 knots. Right now we are looking for a 240 mile through the water day: ie: 10 knot average. Awesome!

Its been a day of chilling (reading / guitar) + a bit of yoga to keep us flexible. Matt did start out this morning well by mending the asymmetric kite sock which nearly strangled me yesterday....but we needed a day of mainly rest today.

According to Elvis (Martin and Sammy rather than Graceland Elvis) this part of the Pacific is known as the Pole of Inaccessibility - meaning its the most remote place in the world. At the halfway stage we were apparently closer to the astronauts in the international space station, than people in any major town. Will have to check this out when (if) i ever get home.

The view from the office wasn't to bad this evening either... Pacific at 15 knots..

Captain's corner:
The view from the office is definitely nothing short of divine! I did manage to find a limitation to what our sewing machine can sew through, and was a little bit disappointed with it, until I tried to hand-stitch the offending part: With all my might I couldn't push the needle through even once, wearing a palm! As you can see, the 18v drill made short work of the problem... After that it was as easy as sewing in cotton! The best part of it all is that although we thought Yesterday was fast, today was even faster... There's a slight chance we'll pull of the Cloud's usual trick of arriving on a Friday again... Here's hoping!
