The Cloud awoke early (local time) this morning - 4.45am, but that was pretty good considering the 7 hour time difference (11.45 UK).
At 9am our discovery of these incredible islands began with a trip to the Highlands - where the incredible Giant Tortoises live.
The crew were keen to try some old shells out for potential new homes - but they are a bit heavy.

Seeing the real thing in the wild (they are very slow) is amazing.

And we were able to get up close and personal, with the girls enjoying the "toss the Guava" competition (to see how many Guava the GT in question could eat.

The intrepid crew of course needed to stop for an ice cream, to provide some power to continue through the day.

Next we were at the Lava tubes - an incredible underground tube created in a volcanic eruption many years ago.

In the afternoon we took a speedboat around to Tortuga Bay - and were welcomed by schooling Golden Rays. There must have been 30+.

On shore we met the strabge but wonderful Marine Iguana.
