Another beautiful day anchored off of 12 mile beach on Barbuda. We decided to take "the tour" ashore and with the help of Foster were soon inspecting the Frigate bird colony and then on our way into the main and only town of Codrington. Despite Barbuda's beauty, the island appears to be a collective - with no property ownership that can be bought or sold. The most intrepid of the crew were soon climbing to the highest point on the island - through some caves - at the Northeast corner of the island.

They were rewarded with the beautiful view over 2 Foot bay.

The East and West coasts of the island are separated by a large lagoon (6 miles by 2) which needs to be crossed - preferably at speed with Foster!
