We loaded up with fuel at Musket Cove and then strapped the surfboards to the rib, and off we went.
Only a month ago Fiji made it legal to surf "anywhere" - where previously waves had been owned and "sold" to local companies. This meant that some great breaks couldn't be surfed unless you paid (and waited). Harry was delighted to get stuck in, and Amanda had a "beginner" lesson - on a world class break - Tavarua at Malolo Passage.

In the afternoon, after lunch, we headed off for the island of Eiao (Beachcomber).

As we pulled in the main mooring buoy was free, so we took it. Only to find out that the cat that arrives 10m after us had booked it.... Boss Nova was not happy.

Of course we then had a rip roaring night with David, Andy and Keith - such is the fun of "yachting mate". Unfortunately our dinghy somehow went adrift, which cast a slight blight on the end of the evening.
