We upped anchor and zoomed around to the West side of Opunohu Bay and anchored in a lagoon just off of Papetoai.
Our mission was to find the pirates who had (yet again) stolen Ella's butterfly necklace. They were last sighted heading to the nearby Motu.....

After a good lunch we headed off to see and feed the incredible Ray's (with meat cut from the most enormous fish head that Al had bought!).
There were even more Ray's than before, and with the added incentive of lots of food they came really close...

Unsurprisingly they were attracted to Jenny the most, with this one actually pushing her backwards!

A great day. Rounded off with the very pleasant surprise of seeing the Dents rock up in Moorea and anchor just behind us at 20.30. A quick BBQ had us all discussing who fantastic the Pacific has been so far, but as the bewitching hour of 00.00 approached it was time to say goodbye and up anchor for our night sail (motor) to Raiatea.
