Time has come to leave Sanxenxo. Ursula really didn’t want to leave, with gym and all facilities on our doorstep it would have been easy to stay. We have organized a rigger and a postal address at Bayona in the MRCY club so we need to push on. Its only 25 NM so we sould easily be there in about 4 hours. Both Spent and Cerys intend to leave at 11h00 and we have agreed to take photos of each other under sail. We have just received an email from Barra in Bayona advising that the town marina is expensive and has poor facilities. We have been advised by our Galician expert, Peter Haden, to ignore the rib that comes alongside as we clear the breakwater. He will be touting for business at the town Marina. Instead he has told us we are better off at the yacht club. Peters advice has been spot on so far, I only wish we had not taken his advice on the Albarino wine. Ursula is now hooked.

His emails have been so detailed that I am beginning to think we are being followed. If a rib comes alongside when Cerys enters Bayona harbour I will be checking the RADAR for  yacht Papageno.

Doesn’t look like we will get any great sailing pics today, plenty of motoring pics though. Large vessel circling us has just cut across Spent forcing her to alter course and is now bearing down on us. We can play chicken for a few minutes but we are not about to get winged.
