No more wet bums. The weather has fully cleared now and all is dry aboard again. We have had to throw out the fresh meat we were unable to use during the bad weather. Shame to waste it but we wont be stuck for food. Flannos trying to loose some weight so that might help.

Wind died off this morning and even under our cruising chute we were only making 1.5 knots so we opted for a swim and washing instead. We all smell lovely on the love boat now.

Began to motor expecting to continue for the day but wind picked up again after one and a half hours. Moving along nicely now and hope to alter course eastwards in the next two days as winds become southerly and then hopefully southwesterly.

We had sweeties and lollies today cos we were good.

Deep Blue Lull - Tea on the foredeck

Flanno threatens to motor - The wind responds - We will remember to use the big mans threat again.

The Sargossa Sea is magnificent and is a blue that, some, possibly have never seen, almost violet.

There is much weed fouling the propellor of our water generator and we have spotted numerous Portuguese Men of War.

Joey did his first solo night watch last night, altering course when required while we all slept soundly.

Night watch:

I was awoken by a cycloptic-bot-transformer at my watch time. I had no idea where I was and all I could make out was one red light communicating with me in some language I had long forgotten. Turned out it was Joe wakening me with his headlamp on. This is how we communicate at night with each other, rouge, beam to beam like infra red devices.

Attire - Fleece, Shorts, Shoes and Harness - Cool Breeze.

Phosphorescent trail fades behind us and is mirrored above by the dome of stars, the night sky moonless thus far. These stars are nameless without Ursula to point them out to me, it seems odd to be this far out at sea, Cerys and I without her.

Wind dies and picks up only under cloud - later under stars.

Time to wake Flanno - He's snoring - I'm afraid. He's moving - Mug of scald. Bed.
