From our lovely anchorage in Santa Margharita we walked along the coast to
Portofino, about 3 km. Portofino is surrounded by national park
Leaving Santa Margharita we passed this very large Italianate
villa,,,,,

the last row back!).
![]() a delightful coastal walk
![]() and there was a boardwalk around cliffs and where the
road narrowed.
![]() This is the bay at Paraggi that Sandra swam across.... as a short cut and
to cool off.
![]() ...from the other side to here.
![]() We then left the coastal road and took the cliff mountain path

![]() ![]() The larger boats are now not allowed in the small harbour so moor
just
outside.
![]() Portofino lives up to it's reputation, it is one of the prettiest
places we have been to.
![]() ![]() They have a sculpture park, and we thought the rhino in the slings was
interesting!
![]() ![]() ![]() To the left of the pink building is the restaurant Sandra had dinner in
when she went to a conference in
Genoa with Deutsche Bank. Since we are no longer on expense accounts,
we foregoed the pleasure!
