The Straits of Messina.  Bondi Tram did not get caught in any whirlpools, but there were numerous
ferries to dodge.

Entering the harbour at Siracusa in a thunderstorm.  Siracusa turned out to be one of our
favourite anchorages.  This was the place that Archimedes lived in...until killed by Roman soldiers
when they stormed the town.
