Towards the end of July we said goodbye to David and Fiona at Avalyk in
Turkey and they took the overnight bus
to Istanbul to catch their flight home. We checked out of Turkey and
set off for Athens to collect our next family visitor,
Erica Beresford from London.
We had a fast passage across the Aegean to the Northern
Cyclades island of Andrhos. We didn't stay long as a gale
was forecast and we left in 30/35 knot winds to take shelter further east
in the Saronic Gulf.
After meeting Erica and having a quick look at Athens we went south,
calling at several islands as we arced back out to
the Cyclades, farewelling Erica at Paros where she caught the ferry back to
Athens and we continued east to meet
our next guests in Bodrum, Turkey.
