Castle Island anchorage

Cleopatra's Beach,  Castle Island.  The sand is not from this area, but is very similar to sand in
North Africa.  Supposedly Cleopatra had the sand shipped in to make a beach for Mark Antony.

You aren't allowed to lie on the sand, nor take any away, and you must shower after swimming...
all this supervised by security.  They are very serious about preserving this beach and for good
reason as several hundred visitors come here every day

The theatre, part of the remains of the old Greek town which was sacked by the Spartans and
the inhabitants sold into slavery

English harbour...so named because British SBS commandos operated from here in 1944
