Croatia...Split to Zadar

The town of Split with some of the remaining walls of the palace in the right foreground, built
around  AD 295 by Diocletian who was Roman Emperor from AD 235 to 316.  He was the only
Roman Emperor to "retire", and this was the place he chose to go and grow  cabbages.
