We arrived back at the marina on the 24th. of April.  Since arriving back, we have had two days of rain, cool nights and warm sunny days.

The boat survived the winter with no damage, apart from the inverter/charger, which had failed.  It was removed by the Mastervolt dealer, who sent it to Istanbul for repair.  They couldn't repair it so Mastervolt are replacing it.  We were very fortunate that it was 2 months within warranty.

We were booked to lift out of the water on Monday 4th May, but didn't get out until Tuesday evening.  It was very busy here last week - the first week in May is when everyone wants their boat back in the water after being out all winter, and both the travel lifts were working till 10 pm every night.

Our antifouling had to be completely removed after nearly 2 years in the water, scraping it off and then putting on a new coat of primer and 2 coats of antifouling.

We hope to get on our way early next week.  Over to Simi to check into Greece, then on to Santorini, the Corinth canal, and the Ionian islands.

A new passarelle made by Peter from an aluminium ladder and some marine ply.  This is lighter than our old plank, and an extra half metre in length.  It even has wheels on the quay end!

We are living on the boat and are expert ladder climbers. The hull is polished and antifouling nearly finished!
