We had a great couple of weeks cruising Maine
. The scenery is stunning, the fog is damp and there are lobster pots everywhere. The pace of life here is certainly slower than we are used to. I had to go for a swim to unwrap a couple of lines that got wrapped around our prop, so I can also confirm that the water is VERY cold. Painfully cold in fact. We joined a number of other yachts from the Ocean Cruising Club for a week of touring around bays and islands that we might not otherwise have visited and had a thoroughly enjoyable time doing so.  Having said all of that, we do feel that we have 'been there, done that' and don't feel the pull to re-visit. We will now start to move slowly south to the Caribbean for the winter.
