Forgot to mention. After 850 miles sailing to Bermuda, we crossed the finish line 2 minutes behind the leading yacht and 7 hours ahead of the third one. The rest of the yachts came in over the next couple of days! 

There is a handicap system in place in sailing and we were actually first once that was taken into account, but that doesn't really account. We came second.
