Really not much to report at all. The fish won 2-0 today and these lures
aren’t cheap! Frozen fish from the freezer for dinner, how bad is
that? The yacht three miles behind us saw two whales this afternoon but we
missed those as well. We have learned a new dice game from Chris (which he
won), had freshly baked sour dough bread by Elaine and not much else.
It looks like we should arrive into Mindelo on island Sao Vicente in the
Cape Verdes around 9am tomorrow after a much slower passage than first
anticipated. We will then spend a few days exploring the islands before leaving
on Wednesday 19th for the ‘big one’; 2,100 Nm to St Lucia which we anticipate
will take 12 days. We have learned a lot on this passage, our
longest to date, and will put as much of that as possible to good use on the
next leg. |
