On the customs dock just after midnight on 15/11/24. Same day as last year, actually.

A bit crazy and stressful coming in in the blustery darkness. Bream Head in a northerly breeze can be interesting. But we knew that, so had taken the headsail in and 3 reefs in the main. Still a challenge at times, mostly because we were tired.

Lots of lights in the channel. So glad we know the area.

Once lined up for the marina entrance channel all went smoothly. There are sandbanks you don't want to end up on. And of course we chose to come in at low tide haha...

Customs and bio-security Friday morning so now all legally in New Zealand and have had one or two well deserved beers at our two fave places here: The Marina restaurant and The Fishermen's Club.

Feels like home.

Skye Blue did well. Prop and Bertha weren't needed as much this time. Motored only about 24 hours in all since we left Denarau Marina.

Now chill time.
