We had a fantastic sunset last night followed by some of the best stars we have ever seen and a beautiful moon. Night watches were spent gazing at the sky and counting how many shooting stars we could see. This is definitely a vast improvement from the night before, where Stephen and I spent the night hunting for the missing cereal bar that Neil had tried to throw for us, in the rain, from the safety of the hatch. The only plus side was that we discovered 3 in its place the following morning so we have of course come to the only conclusion - they have been breeding in the night! So no risk of any food shortages here!

We have been spoiled with good food and treats from Malene. After her amazing purple potato dish last night, she has gave us all another treat today with freshly baked honey and sunflower seed bread that we have been scoffing away. Tonight on the menu is meatballs and dauphinoise potatoes from Janet, which we are all very excited to eat! New boat rule - every supper must come with a song... last night was Purple Rain (potato) and today we had a lovely performance of the Meatball song from Stephen.

After a rolly start the seas have calmed, the sun is shinning and both sails are out YEYY!!! As Skipper says, "this is what sailing is meant to be like" and we are all very happy to be experiencing it even if it did take some time.

Sending lots of love from Nic and the rest of the Skye Blue crew xxx
