I see a new bucket list coming on: Sailing the windiest corners of the world. Not necessarily one we need to do - that list. But we have started so might as well just .....! ;D

The corner around Cartagena, Colombia, certainly goes on the list. Finisterre in Spain. Skagen/Southern Norway coast (Skagerak, really). Cape Wrath - if it even qualifies! :D
Yesterday we had a lovely sail during the day until the forecast didn't hold true any longer and the wind was about 6-8 knots stronger than predicted. It doesn't sound a lot but when the prediction is 23 kts it sort of is noticeable. Anyway, put a third reef in around 2230 last night - well done Team MMS - and good old Skye Blue took us safely through the night.

Team DMS have now gybed back to port gybe, had coffee and are actually going towards Colon, Panama, not the mangrove coast of eastern Nicaragua. In a straight line from here, Colon is about 290 nautical miles away. We have done 780 nautical miles so far. All is well and precooked lasagna for dinner.
