Halifax, Nova Scotia

Our intended trip back home in Sea Spray is on hold at the moment. Ian and I set off a week or so ago to go to St John's, Newfoundland, and within twenty four hours are batteries were running down quickly, and the charging system failed again despite a huge investment in trying to renew the system. We were back in fog with no radar, which is not much fun.

With all the set backs Ian and I have had these last few months, we have decided to put Sea Spray on the hard in Chester, Nova Scotia, and for sale and we will wait until next year and decide what to do if she has not sold.

It has been a ten month adventure and we have certainly had our ups and downs, but we are glad to be going home now.

I would like to thank Ian and Andy, without whom I would not have been able to do this. Thanks also to my parents who I believe have had a few anxious moments during the last ten months.

Finally, a very big thanks to Deb, who I love very much, and who has endured several 'I will be home soon' moments. It's now happening at last.
