We are now about an hour away from the traffic separation scheme from Brest where we will have to tack left to keep out of it and then turn left towards La Coruna. We had a good sail yesterday in the Bristol Channel and whilst Sea Spray is sailing well, she is not being entirely co-operative. We have a leak on the stern gland, the batteries are discharging quickly and the worst nightmare of all- a blocked toilet. The joys of boating.

We are settling well into our new environment with Andy producing some very god meals and Ian quickly becoming the chief engineer, whilst ‘analogue’ Mike is on a steep learning curve dealing with the new communications technology.
