Position at 1400 local time (UTC +2) 43 24N, 08 34W. We have now left La Coruna and are heading for Lisbon, which is three days away providing we don’t have to tack as the winds are forecast from the south west to south east at force 4 to 6, although at the moment we have a force 0 with the iron jib at work.

We were impressed with La Coruna and we would all go back there, although the lack of spoken english resulted in one very short haircut and a lot of gesticulating. However, the beer festival over the weekend impressed as did the military museum and everybody we met were polite and helpful, especially the marina staff and fellow ‘yotties’, some of whom we are bound to meet again in the weeks and months ahead.
