5th March – we have spent a happy few days
in Falmouth
cleaning up the boat and generally relaxing and eating out. Changed out the
pencil zincs but am leaving the main servicing for when I return in April when
everything will need doing before we head out across the Atlantic.
Went through all the spares so we have an updated list which can be topped out
before we leave. Osprey is back in her usual spot next to Adam in Wild Thing
and Atem on the other side. Adam is having to work for a living this year as he
has a charter almost every other week throughout the season. The marina is
almost full so it looks as though it will be a pretty normal season hear and
the main marina’s in Falmouth
and English harbour looks as though they are at about 75%. Anita and John will
be flying out at 2300 tonight and Neville or one of his nephews will be
collecting us at 2000. Neither of us are looking forward the to BA flight which
has proved a trial on this route – There is a sign here erected by some
disgruntled crew which says BA = Bloody Awful – that just about sums it
up.
