Hello Aunty Sylvia
A special message just for you from your friend - we decided to stay put in the small fishing harbour of Deshales today as the weather was not good. It has been raining on and off all day so cannot even leave the hatches open because the water comes in so nothing to do except eat, drink and sleep you will be pleased to hear - much needed rest. We are hoping to go to Pigeon Island which is Cousteau Underwater Park the other side of Guadeloupe - not that I will be doing the underwater bit but you never know. We will stay there overnight and then head to Iles des Saints and thence to Dominica weather permitting. All I can say is that at least it is warm rain - have my rum and coke in hand and John is cooking so life is as it should be!!!

Till the next time with love Anita

P.S. from John - Whilst doing the cooking I couldn't help notice that the galley has become organised in a female fashion - everything has its place and we have no rattles apart from one sliding door that needs some attention. Quite a difference from the all male boat we have had until the 10th of December. Of course water consumption has gone up dramatically what with showers, hair washing and the like! And of course the laundry line on the deck guardrails looks a little different too!
