and return. Solid fog and little wind over last three days but the rebuilt
engine is getting a workout. Sam on board with me and will be leaving in
St John. We hope to get through reversing falls and see a bit of the river
but the proceedure seems complicated by there being no obvious place to
wait for slack water on the seaward side of the falls. Will have to snoop
around when we get there. With a maximum speed of 8 knots and tidal flows
up to 5 knots - life gets a little compliceted here. Stopped for the night
in Cutler - incredibly pretty small fishing village with not a single
store!
